We Felt the Frustration, We Made a Better Way.
All of that began with a collective irritation: online basic text assignments were now too complex. It was counting words, cleaning messy formatting, or converting cases and it was all longer than it was meant to be. The online tools were either slow and full of advertisements or crowded with features that were not covered by the requirements and made standard operations quite a nightmare.
Being writers, developers and regular users, we had to believe that there was a better solution to this. Something quicker, leaner and more narrow.
This is what inspired us to come up with Online Text Tools in 2024.
We developed word counter, text cleaner, and other text-related tools, which are made to be fast and easy to use in the browser. No sign-ups, no distractions. Seamless, convenient and simple tools that you can use anytime and anywhere.
Our productivity should not have anyone attached to it or a loading screen.
The Beginning of Our Journey
Online Text Tools was not created in a boardroom. It began with a single question, Why are basic text tasks so annoying on the Internet?
Umer Hayat was a digital problem-solver who continued to encounter overweight editors that took a half-minute task and made it a struggle that took five minutes to complete. He chose to construct something different instead of accepting that. His technical experience made him feel that tools must be rapid, stable and free.
He collaborated with Gregory Needle, a web developer, who is enthusiastic about clean code and high performance. They wanted to design technology jointly that would not violate the time and privacy of the users.
They are employed in XLogic Solutions with offices in North Carolina and in Punjab, they developed Online Text Tools in 2024, a no-frills set of browser tools that allow your work to shine, but without distraction.
Good tools should not produce noises at the end of the day. They should make space.
